Our bliss balls require only seven ingredients to make and are a healthier spin on traditional chocolate chip cookie dough: No raw eggs, butter or flour required! The “dough” is made from pureed chickpeas, which are a good source of protein, fiber and several vitamins and minerals. The balls are lightly sweetened with your choice of honey or maple syrup.
Each bliss ball contains approximately 4 mg of CBD to help support overall wellness. Keep these snack balls in the freezer for a quick and healthy fix to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Recipe:
(Makes 1 dozen)
1 15.5 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
⅓ cup natural peanut butter
4 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅛ tsp sea salt
2 mL (2 droppers) Zebra CBD Unflavored Hemp Oil
⅓ cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
- Place chickpeas in the bowl of a food processor fitted with blade attachment. Add peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, sea salt and CBD oil and process until smooth. Pause to scrape the sides of the bowl, if needed.
- Transfer mixture to a small mixing bowl and fold in chocolate chips. Cover bowl and refrigerate 30 minutes to 1 hour until mixture firms up.
- Remove from the refrigerator and, working quickly, roll into balls approximately 2 inches in diameter.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer. Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating.
